Birmingham Modern

Birmingham, Michigan | Residential Interior Design + Renovation

For this in-town Birmingham home, the renovation was about finding the balance between classic + current—respecting the character of the original architecture while creating a home that feels fresh, personal and designed for the way its owners live today.

A refined palette, natural materials, tailored millwork + layers of texture bring warmth and depth throughout the home. Modern forms are mixed with timeless details and collected furnishings, creating spaces that feel elevated without being overly formal—and considered without ever feeling too precious.

The result is our favorite kind of modern: warm, timeless + meant to be lived in. A home that doesn't chase trends or belong to a particular moment, but feels collected over time and distinctly its own.
