For the last 19 years, Heather has worked to create human-centered, innovative interior design solutions that respond to user desires and the inherent qualities of space. 

​

Her diverse body of award-winning work spans multiple typologies with one singular goal - to create spaces that improve the quality of life for the people who touch them. 

 

As a biophilic and wellness design expert, Heather co-led research studying the impact of design on physical, cognitive, and social - emotional wellness with Harvard's TH Chan School of Public Health.

​

Her clients include Fortune 100/500 companies looking to make major transformative impacts on space, to developers rethinking how people live and work, and executive private residences desiring to create home as a sanctuary. 

​

As a sought-after speaker for interior design trends and insights, Heather's design work and future focused design ideas have been featured in publications including Work Design Magazine, Crains Detroit, Building Design + Construction Magazine, Prism Magazine, HR Reporter, Great Lakes by Design, CAM, and many local publications.

 

Her work has been consistently recognized for design awards from AIA, IES Lighting Design, CAM Special features, Detroit Hour Top Office Design, and Detroit's Coolest office designs among others.

Most recently she was appointed to the Building Design + Construction Magazine's global 40 Under 40 class (2021) and CREW Detroit's Woman of Impact (2022).

Hilary has for the last 35 years led the design and development of some of the most dynamic, engaging and experiential office, lobby, and community projects in the Metro Detroit area. Leveraging insights from across her retail, office, hospitality and educational design portfolio she creates places that deeply support the functions of the people who use them and inspire them through her thoughtfully layered design elements.

Supporting clients from concepts and programming holistically through design development, sourcing and move management, she is known for listening to her clients expressed and inherent needs and responding with solutions that create meaningful change. Whether it’s on a commercial or residential project she uses her background in teaching and her days as an adjunct professor at Lawrence Tech University, and her tenue at Knoll to create solutions that balance form and function in new and thoughtful ways.

Hilary has a deep appreciation of design modernism, specifically the local mid-century classics, and an affinity for the fine arts - channeled through her interior designs as well as her time crafting pottery that brings her love of design, exquisite craft, and natural materials together. Known for her deep appreciation of sustainability she is always at the forefront of holistic wellbeing and sustainability initiatives that can be leveraged on projects to create happier, healthier and more joyful places to live, work and connect.

Hilary holds a Bachelor of Science from Eastern Michigan University, with an Interior Design Major and a Fine Arts minor. As well as a certification from the National Council for Interior Design Qualification, and she is a LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) Accredited Professional. She has been affiliated with CREW (Commercial Real Estate Women, IIDA (International Interior Design Association) and USGBC (United States Green Building council).

With an eye for blending functionality & aesthetics to create spaces that inspire & elevate Sophia specializes in timeless designs with a focus on sustainability, natural materials, & personalized details that reflect each client’s unique space.

Building a love of travel & exploration from a young age, she witnessed firsthand the unique ways in which spaces shape daily life, reinforcing her belief that design is a powerful storyteller.

 

This perspective drives her approach to creating interiors that are not only visually compelling but also evoke a sense of relaxation & belonging. Sophia crafts interiors for contract, residential & hospitality interiors, all uniting this goal of a strong story reinforced by beautiful & thoughtful details.

Keagan blends her love of graphic design & interior design to create dynamic & engaging approaches to space. Consistently delivering layered & thoughtful design strategies to the places she creates, she considers the form & function of the space bringing them to life through materiality, lighting, & layers of human factors. 

​

She approaches all of her designs with curiosity & an exploration mindset to uniquely tailor her solutions to the specific clients needs. Working across all disciplines the common theme you will find is her spaces are crafted with a timeless quality mixed with a bit of whimsy & interest.

Elaine brings over three decades of luxury retail experience

bringing her strategic focus on community, timeless design, & sustainability to our sourcing approach here in the studio. 

 

Always looking to build up those around her, she focuses on telling the stories of the makers, sourcing from small & women owned businesses, & creating community connections. She wants you to find pieces you will love forever & truly believes in a timeless, capsule design approach which is a key foundation of how we address design & styling throughout our projects. 

 

Elaine leads our retail & outreach events, connecting our community to our collection of makers & partners in the shoppe & steering our community outreach & giving.
