Nalu Salon

Troy, Michigan | Retail + Salon Interior Design | Detroit Design Award Winner

For Nalu Salon, we approached the space as more than a place for appointments—it needed to become an experience. The new-construction retail build-out pairs elevated materiality, sculptural forms + thoughtful lighting with the practical demands of a working salon, creating an environment that feels polished, welcoming and distinctly Nalu.

Throughout the salon, function is intentionally woven into the design. Custom millwork, layered textures, warm woods + carefully considered details create moments of discovery while supporting the flow of clients, stylists and the everyday rhythm of the business. The result feels less like a traditional salon and more like a hospitality destination.

Recognized with a Detroit Design Award, Nalu reflects our belief that great commercial design should do more than look beautiful—it should strengthen the brand, elevate the customer experience + create a place people remember long after they leave.
