For Gesher Human Services, the workplace needed to reflect an organization built around people, possibility + connection. Serving individuals and families throughout Metro Detroit, Gesher’s mission became an important part of our design approach—creating an environment that feels welcoming, inclusive and optimistic while supporting the many different ways its team works and serves the community.

Throughout the space, warm materials, approachable furnishings + thoughtful moments of color and personality move the experience away from a traditional institutional workplace. Spaces for focused work, collaboration, gathering + connection are layered together to create an environment that supports employees while making the clients and community members who walk through the doors feel equally considered.

The result is a workplace where mission and environment feel connected—human, purposeful + designed around the people it serves. Because for organizations doing deeply meaningful work, the space itself can become another way to communicate care, dignity + belonging.
